Diagnostic fetal ultrasound is considered one of the safest means for obtaining information about your unborn baby when performed by a licensed sonographer. Health Canada reports that the clinical use of fetal ultrasound has an excellent safety record. There have been millions of these examinations over the past few decades with no confirmed health risks for the baby or the mother. This finding is consistent with the majority of scientific studies on the effects of ultrasound.

We recommend clients undergo their physician-recommended ultrasound before coming to see us. Diagnostic prenatal ultrasound focuses on identifying abnormalities or concerns with the developing baby. At Sneak a Peek, your ultrasound is designed purely for mom and family to enjoy watching the new baby in the womb.
What can I expect at my appointment?
A typical appointment lasts about 30 minutes and takes place in a comfortable, private room. Sneak a Peek’s fully registered and certified technicians are there to ensure you get the best view possible of your unborn child and experience what has been described as the most beautiful bonding experience ever.
Can I bring a friend or family members with me?
We encourage you to share this experience of a lifetime with your loved ones, but request each client bring a maximum of six guests due to space restrictions. Please note, cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in our facility.
